    Why you shouldn't skip breakfast

Dinner is normally eaten between 6-8pm and lunch at 12-2pm. If we skip breakfast that's nearly 18 hours between both meals. That can't be a good thing can it?

Think of it in this way, your flight is from Singapore to London and there is a stopover in Dubai for refueling purposes. If your flight skips that stopover and just decides to go on with whatever fuel it has, the airport in London isn't going to show an arrival for your plane. Apply the same principal to your body, if you skip a breakfast, it isn't going to get enough of fuel for the latter half of the day and you will feel tired and be craving for something to eat.

Our body uses some of the energy from our food during sleep for various subconscious activities. The remaining energy isn't enough to concentrate or exercise or whatever we do every morning

I started eating breakfast since the beginning of this term and I did feel a difference throughout the day. I could concentrate longer, and absorb whatever was being taught to me. I wasn't irritable or cranky like I usually was on an empty stomach.

So do yourself a favour and get some breakfast. It doesn't have to be cereal and milk, you can have eggs, toast, or my personal alternative fruits.
